This photo was taken just before I had a speed "test" on the flats, and after a little "race" with an all black Audi A4.The Audi and I were playing cat & mouse through some uphill twisties.
I did not know, but suspected my Challenger was up for the task.
Did you know that after cruising awhile at 100 mph, 80 mph seems slow?
150 mph on the other hand, does feel fast.
I love driving in Montana, how else can you verify fuel consumption at triple digits?
ReplyDeleteMy Z3 gets 31 mpg at 90 mph, but it doesn't have enough horsepower to even get close enough to smell your dust in a race.
I could probably have gotten across Montana a lot faster, but I was a bit cautious. I didn't know how well my radar detector was working. What I have determined is, it gets a lot less false alerts than my old one. So much so, that I thought it may not have been working.
ReplyDeleteSo far, it appears to be 100% spot on! I have identified every construction zone speed indicator and cop car long before visible (Spot the Cop Game).
