Duluth...

Duluth, Minnesota is an interesting small city with it's pluses and minuses. It's only relevance here is that it is my home town where I was born and raised.

Left is a photo of the city's icon, the Aerial Lift Bridge. I won't even touch on it's history or anything except to say, whenever I see a photo of it, I cannot help but to think of the word "home". Directly above is Enger Tower, another minor icon. It was recently refurbished and looks better than it ever did when I lived in Duluth. (I wasn't trying to be fancy w/that shot. I had to make it fit in the viewfinder)

I'll post a few more photos that really don't fit anywhere else.

Minnesota Surplus & Outfitters. I worked there all through my college years. The place kept me in school, beer, and clothes. I worked with many fine people there (and a few losers). I was happy to find the place still doing well, and the good people were still there.
Glad to see you again, Pete & Dave!

A chocolate malted ice cream shake from Bridgeman's. Another Duluth icon. It's a joy one cannot fully explain without being semi-erotic, so I'll pass on saying anything more.
