Martian War Machines Spotted in Midwest!
Or so I almost thought when I first saw these monsters. Yeah I know they are just windmills for generating electricity. I have seen them before many years ago in California, but these were HUGE! I mean really BIG!
One of the blades on one of these puppies, is almost the wingspan of a B-29 bomber! (I found this out when I looked them up, afterwards: 112 feet vs 141 feet of the B-29))
These wind-farms are springing up all over southern Minnesota & Iowa. As I was driving through I saw many under construction as well. After awhile, I just had to get up close to see how big they are.
